The challenge

Meat production has a big ecological footprint. With a growing world population, the demand for food is getting bigger, while resources are getting smaller. Farming insects is a solution, as insects have a much smaller impact on the environment, and are meanwhile very nutritional. Despite this, people have an aversion towards insect food. Insects are associated with poverty and filth. It is not socially accepted to eat them.

The solution

Creating a tasty bakery product containing insects. By making a tasty and fun insect product, the aversion towards insects will decrease.
